Description
The large female tag is a good economy tag and all rounder for all identification purposes that require a
smaller serial number and/or property name/mobile number. It sits well within the ear, keeps clean and being
centrally placed, you have good visibility of colour and tag print.
Suits all cattle types and is readily applied to new born calves, or calves at marking or mustering. A good sized tag
for young stock, shorter term cattle production, and for breeders.
Recommendations for Cattle:
Temperate:
- Male Tag Recommendation: Can be paired with either an ETM1 or an ETM3
- Age at Application: Paired with an ETM1 this tag can be applied from birth onward, paired with an ETM3 it is recommended to wait until marking.
Dairy:
- Male Tag Recommendation: The ETM1, ETM2 and ETM3 are all suitable for dairy cattle.
- Age at Application: Paired with an ETM1 or ETM2 this tag can be applied at birth, paired with an ETM3 it is recommended to wait until weaning.
Tropical:
- Male Tag Recommendation: The ETM1, ETM2 and ETM3 are all suitable for tropical cattle.
- Age at Application: Paired with an ETM1 or ETM2 this tag can be applied at birth, paired with an ETM3 it is recommended to wait until branding.
