Description

The medium male tag is used for young livestock for shorter term visual management from the back of the ear.

Designed for beef calves and stud ewes.

Recommendations:

Cattle:

  • Type: The ETM2 is suitable for all types of cattle
  • Female Tag Recommendation: The ETM2 is usually used with the ETF2 or ETF3 tags
  • Age at Application: The ETM2 tag can be applied to cattle at birth

Sheep:

  • Type: The ETM2 is suitable for most breeds of sheep
  • Female Tag Recommendation: For sheep the ETM2 tag is used with the ETF2
  • Age at Application: The ETM2 tag can be applied to sheep at six months and onwards

There are two printing options for the ETM2

  • Standard Print: Standard printing is the regular printing option
  • High Tag: The High Tag option is where the print is upside down, so the tag sticks up instead of hanging down. This is a popular option for dairy cattle

Print Format:

There are two main printing formats for the ETM2, these can be standard print or high tags

  • One Line: This is usually a serial number
  • Two Lines: This is usually a line of text and a serial number

Print Size:

The ETM2 has a maximum print height of 25mm and maximum width of 50mm

  • One Line: Normally one line of print is 22mm high
  • Two Lines: Normally one line will be 15mm high and the other will be 5mm high
